AN ACT to create the County of Pearl, and to	provide for its	organization*
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature	of the	State	of	Mississippi,
that the county of gaarl be, and the same is hereby created, and shall be bounded by beginning ath the point in the middle of Pearl river, in the center between townships five and six, in the county of Hancock; thence running east through ranges 18, 17, 16, 15 and 14, to the line between ranges 13 and 14, west; thence* north, on said range line, to the line between townships two and Tlhree, south, between Marion and Hancock counties;	thence	west,	on	said town?
Ship line, to Pearl river; thence down the center of said	rifrer	to	the point of

AN ACT to change and define the dividing line between the Counties of Marion and Pearl.
Sectionl. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Mississippi, That all that portion of Marion county lying and being south of the 31st degree of latitude, be and the same is hereby attached to the county of Pearl, and ahall be and compose a part of the said Pearl county, and the said 31st parallel line shall hereafter be the boundary line between said counties.
SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That this Act take effect from and after its passage.

AN ACT to repeal an Act entitled "an Act to create Pearl county and to prqvide for its organization, " approved February 21, 1872, and for other purposes.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted, b^ntheaEegislatureiof the State.;of Mississippi,
That an Act entitled wan Act to create Pearl county, and to provide for its
organization," approved February 21, 1872, be and the same is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That an Act entitled "an Act to change
and define the dividing line between the counties of Marion and Pe^rl, "approved
April 14, 1876, be and the 3ame is hereby repealed.
SEC. 3* Be it further enacted, That the boundary line between the counties
of Marion and Hancock, as it	stood prior to the passage of	the	aforesaid	Act,
creating the county of Pearl,	is hereby re-established....
