The name of Jeptha Oinn appears on Territorial rocords until the formation of Pike County when his nnme appears on the Tax noils through the year 1020* He is not shown in the 1820 census for Pike or any of the adjoining counties, leading to the assumption that he died in 1820, .Tho name Penolope Oinn is shown as hoad of family in the 1820 census with 2 males under 10( 1 male 10/16, 3 females undor 10, 2 fomalos 10/16, and 1 female 26/^5* Beginning with the year 1021, tho Tax Rolls show the land on Magees Crook assessed to Penelope Oinn for some years and to Penny Oinn for some ynars through 10*40, Presumably Penelope, Penny, and Penina Oinn are one and tho same.

Some of these remales appear to have grown younger with each succeeding consus and it is difficult to rely on the census alone in estimating a date of birth.
This record might well have been entitled "GlfWS-MAGEES" because there were so many intermarriages nwl tlie families aro so closoly alliod, but It Is my information that many genealogists are doing roooaroh on tho Magee line, and 1 leavo the |>erfection of that line to them.
