When we left, Katy loaded us down with all kinds of stuff, such as corn, beans, peas, squash, soup mix, chicken cut off from the bone, oh, I don't know what all out of her freezer. Then she gave us some sweet potatoes, half a sack of pecans, garlic and gave me a lovely quilt. She had already given me two before that. She is still going to Hattiesburg for treatments (cancer). She said she loved me next to her mother as she said after her mother died I took her place. She had five fine boys all are married and have nice homes and good jobs. Katy & Rufus (her husband) moved to Napoleon when they had three boys (small). Rufas had ulcerated stomach and couldn't work for some time so Willie and I helped them out some by giving them milk as he could have milk but so many .... (rest of story unknown)
