them you can't help but appreciate the quality of lawyers that we have had in this county, and the quality of lawyers that have practiced here. We have to remember today is not only Judge Russell's day, but it was appropriately picked to be on Law Day USA.
And this is significant because Dan has devoted a great part of his life to the law and a tremendous amount of his life to being a judge. He is truly one of the finest gentleman that I know. He's known me for 61 plus years.	He knew me	when I	was born.	And
he has been	a mentor to	me. I'll never
forget -- those of you that have never been on the bench can't imagine the fear that you go through never having tried a case on that side sitting as a judge. And then you're getting ready to start trial on Monday morning. You get the announcement on a Friday before that you've just been appointed United States District Judge for the Southern District of Mississippi. Well I happened to be sitting,	Dan asked me about	two days	prior
to that if I would like	to sit	with him	in a
criminal case. And I said, "Yes. I'd really
