And he took me through the entire proceeding from jury selection through verdict and showed me how it was to sit on that side of the bench, and I've always been eternally grateful because I was sworn in on Friday and I tried my first case as a judge on Monday. And my good friend John Roper had seen to it that we had a complete calendar set and ready to go. But it was only through the efforts of Judge Russell to assist me and help me through these proceedings that I was really able to do it. I really, honest to God, don't know what I would have done being sworn in on a Friday and trying a case on a Monday had it not been for Dan, and he's been a confidant, he's been a mentor to me. He's truly -- I guess if there's one quality that distinguishes him from the other judges that I am associated with is his demeanor, his judicial demeanor. It's incredible. And I look through the audience and I see an awful lot of people that have appeared before him.
