February 21, 1848, in Marion County. We now have two siblings bom in 1826 as found on their headstones. One is obviously wrong, but who?
F.	Sarah Baxter — bom on September 16, 1828, and died on April 17, 1897, in Corinth, Lamar County, MS. She married Daniel Slade.
G.	Eliza Baxter — bom in 1830 and died on January 2, 1887. She married Elli Dearman on October 17, 1850, in Marion County where they lived.
H.	Susan Sophronia Baxter — bom on August 22, 1832, and died in Marion County on December 3, 1909. She married Charles R. Slade on December 30, 1852, in Marion County.
I.	John T. Baxter-bom in 1833 and died January 12, 1881. He married Mary Rankin.
J. Joseph Baxter - bom in 1836 and was killed in June of 1863 at the siege of Vicksburg.
K. William F. Baxter — bom in 1838 and died in May 1862 of a disease in a Confederate hospital. He married Arsenath (maiden name unknown, and they had one child called Cynthia E. Baxter in 1860. Cynthia married Elisa Ryan Boone and died in 1953 in Purvis, MS.

n. Matilda Stanford - bom on July 6, 1801, according to the family Bible.
She, her husband, John B. Entrekin (misspelled as Enterkin), and four of her children are found in the 1850 Marion County, MS census. She is listed as 49 years old and bom in Georgia. The family is also found in the 1840 Marion County census living three houses from John Stanford. Our research shows she was bom in Warren County, GA. Much of the following information was given to us by Mrs. Calvin Entrekin in two letters she sent to us in February and April of 1973. She has done years of research on the Stanfords and has traced over 1600 descendants of John Stanford, Sr. She told us that Matilda Stanford died in Jackson Co., MS, on April 3, 1870, she married John Bryant Entrekin, and they had a rather large family. Mrs. Entrekin also told us that they lived for a short while with John Stanford in Hancock County around 1820 and then moved to Marion Co. The following is what information we have compiled on their children:
A.	Thomas Geather Entrekin - bom September 22, 1820, and died in Purvis,
MS, on November 23, 1892, as found on his headstone. He married Julia Josephine Hudson in Harrison County, MS, on February 14, 1845. These are the great-grandparents of Mr. Calvin Entrekin. This Julia Hudson was the
