A native of New Orleans, KAT FITZPATRICK received her BA from the University of Florida, with further study at Boston University and the University of New Orleans. Her work has been exhibited in one or two person shows in Mississippi at J. L. Scott Marine Education Center, Serenity Gallery, C. W. Woods Gallery and Ship's Gallery, in Florida at Center of Modem Art and Studio 8, New Orleans.
She has received numerous awards including Mississippi Art Colony 1992, Broome Award for figure drawing 1988, Tri-State Edgewater Art Show 1986, Pirate's Alley Art Show 1985 and commission for Bronze Bas Relief 1982, City of Tampa, Florida.
KAT FITZPATRICK currently exhibits her work at Serenity Gallery, Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi.
JON GEORGE has been sculpting the human figure since his childhood in Ohio.
He found the perfect place for his talents when he was selected as one of the few new artists to work for a prestigious New Orleans float builder.
Being honored for his talents and skills began early for JON. His work was accepted in the Junior Scholastic Art Show and he was awarded the "Armstrong" for best of show while still in high school.
He studied further at San Antonio College, San Antonio, Texas.
JON GEORGE sculptures may be found in many local homes in Bay Saint Louis and New Orleans.
He shares studio space with his mother, Pat George, at False Pretenses, Bay Saint Louis.
