HANCO civil marriages, DELMAS CARVER married MARY BOURGEOIS, May 25, 1882. 1BF6F. GEORGE WASHINGTON "WASH" CARVER. OLG Record of Interments, page 46,
states, George Washington Carver, age 60 years, died May 1, 1917 and his headstone at Cedar Rest Cemetery states "1855-1917". His wife, Helen Marie "Elina" Carver is also buried at Cedar Rest and her headstone reads "1860-1936". His baptism record and their marriage record is as follows:
"GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER, born Feb. 23, 1857 baptised June 21, 1857, son of James Carver and Irma Guerry.
Godfather: Alfred Carver Godmother: Roselia Ladner."
(OLG BB 1 p 54 A 384)
"GEORGE CARVER of Bay St. Louis, son of James Carver and Irma Guery, with dispensation of 2? consanguinity, married May 25, 1889, ELINA CARVER, daughter of Edwin Carver and Ophelia Batson. Witnesses: Oscar Guery and Victoria Carver."	(OLG MB 2 p 9 A 31)
She was the daughter of 1BF10. Edwin Carver and Ophelia Batson.
1BF7. CECILE CARVER married ADLAR FAVRE
Adlar Favre was generally known as "Shoot" Favre and he and Cecile Carver
had no children. They appear in the 1850 HANCO census and her brothers, David
Carver and John B. Carver are in their household. In the 1870 HANCO census,
Lily Carver, her niece, daughter of Elihu Carver, Jr. is counted both in
their household but again in the home of her father, Elihu, Jr. In the 1800
HANCO census, Adlar Favre, due to his Indian blood line, is found alone, and
listed as "mulatto" which is an error. I presume that Cecile Carver is then
deceased, and Adlar Favre remarried Aug. 27, 1881 to HENRIETTE "HARRIET" SEAL.
1BF9. JOHN BAPTISTE CARVER married 1EC1C MARIE CELESTINE NICAISE
Much of the information on this family comes from the files of Mr. Jerry Heitzmann of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi and gained through personal interviews conducted by Mr. Heitzmann with descendants of this family.
1BF9A. PIERRE NAPOLEON CARVER. This person never married, had no children, and the record of his baptism is as follows:
"PIERRE NAPOLEON CARVER born Jan. 29, 1859 baptised March 15, 1859, son of J. B. Carver and Celestine Nicaise. Godfather: David Carver Godmother: Louise Nicaise."
(OLG BB 1 p 66 A 484)
1BF9B. VALENTINE "JENNY" CARVER. Her record of baptism is as follows:
"VALENTINE EUGENIE CARVER born July 1, 1860 baptised
